What is a Vehicle NOC?

When is a Vehicle NOC Required?
An NOC is mandatory in the following scenarios:
- Interstate Transfer: Moving a vehicle to another state for over a year requires re-registration, necessitating an NOC.

Apply for a Vehicle No Objection Certificate (NOC) Online
Step-by-Step Process to Obtain a Vehicle NOC:
- Visit https://parivahan.gov.in.
- Go to “Vehicle Related Services” > “Vehicle Registration.”
- Select state, enter vehicle number, click “Proceed.”
- Choose “Application for No Objection Certificate.”
- Enter chassis number, click “Verify Details.”
- Input OTP sent to RC-linked mobile, click “Submit.”
- Fill “NOC Vehicle Details” (reason, state, etc.), click “Save Details.”
- Confirm (no fee required).
- Print and sign “CMV Form 28” and receipt.
- Upload Form 28, receipt, chassis pencil print, passport-size photo.
- Click “Proceed Further,” then “Final Submit.”
